About Me

My photo
BagLady
I'm a vibrant, passionate woman; a free spirit. I love the outdoors. I'm happiest in the woods. I raised 2 daughters alone and now that they're out of the house, I'm looking to find my next adventure. I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2007. I biked to Key West in 2009. Hiked 500 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail in 2010 and then spent 6 weeks trekking in Nepal that fall. Biked Europe in summer 2012, SE Asia that fall, and New Zealand Dec -June 2013. Upon returning home after my last tour, I realized I no longer needed a house or a car so I disposed of both and took off in 2014 to tour the world on my recumbent trike. And now, in 2016, I'm still touring and still loving my life. Spain, Portugal, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, New Zealand (again) and a year in Australia. And there's so much more to see! I love being active and on the move, but I like being with people too. So that's the dichotomy. Most travel is solo. Haven't figure that one out yet. If you're interested in learning to bike tour and join me for a bit, please do let me know. I'd love the company...for awhile...
